The Clockwork Chaos Necklace is organised disorder in jewellery form — a sprawling collision of gears, cogs and mechanical fragments assembled into a dramatic statement piece that looks as though it has been salvaged from the inner workings of some forgotten machine.

⚙️

An intricate collection of silver and antique-metal-effect gears overlaps across the centre, combining different sizes, shapes and finishes to create a wonderfully chaotic mechanical texture. Rather than sitting neatly in formation, the components appear to tumble into one another, giving the necklace an almost deconstructed quality.

⚙️

Smaller cog details continue upwards towards the chain, allowing the mechanical design to become part of the necklace itself rather than simply forming a central pendant. Below, suspended gears hang from fine lengths of chain, introducing movement and giving the piece an asymmetric, slightly unruly finish.

⚙️

The mix of silver tones with darker, aged metallic finishes adds depth and makes the individual components stand out against one another. Every angle reveals another tiny wheel, opening or mechanical detail hidden amongst the layers.

⚙️

There is something beautifully contradictory about this piece — machinery transformed into ornament, hard industrial shapes arranged into something unexpectedly decorative. It has obvious steampunk influence without feeling like costume jewellery, making it equally suited to industrial goth, punk, grunge, dystopian and alternative styling.

⚙️

Wear it against bare skin to make every tiny detail visible, or layer it over black mesh, a corset, distressed knitwear or a simple dark dress and let the necklace completely transform the outfit.
