Pearl of Extinction is a darkly playful statement necklace where prehistoric bones meet the luminous beauty of a baroque button pearl. Strange, elegant and wonderfully unexpected, it feels like an artefact from an alternative natural-history collection.
▫️
The large silver dinosaur skeleton stretches asymmetrically across the neckline, with its open-jawed skull, ribcage and suspended legs creating a dramatic focal point. A vertebra-inspired section continues along one side, reinforcing the skeletal construction and giving the necklace additional texture.
▫️
Set beside the bones is a luminous baroque button pearl, chosen for its wonderfully irregular shape, rippled surface and individual markings. Its soft lustre forms a striking contrast against the angular silver skeleton, bringing something precious and organic to the prehistoric design.
▫️
Small faceted black beads are spaced along the opposite side of the chain, completing the intentionally unbalanced silhouette. The jointed hanging legs move gently when worn, making the skeleton appear almost animated.
▫️
Pearl of Extinction is perfect for gothic styling, natural-history lovers, palaeontology enthusiasts and collectors of unusual jewellery. Wear it with black velvet, distressed knitwear, a crisp white shirt or a simple neckline for maximum impact.
▫️
Only one Pearl of Extinction Necklace has been created. The distinctive surface and shape of its baroque button pearl ensure that this wonderfully strange piece can never be precisely repeated.
